About the role:
This role is responsible for handling 1 to 90-day-plus accounts that are behind in their mortgage repayments. They need someone who has sound knowledge and experience within the banking and finance industries with a strong emphasis on customer service. The successful candidate will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and be able to hit the ground running. This is a full-time role, and ideally looking for someone who can start immediately.
More about you:
We’re looking for a Collections Officer experienced in banking, especially mortgage collections, to handle overdue mortgage accounts. The right candidate should excel in customer service, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and immediate availability are important, ensuring effective management of accounts and positive customer interactions.
Day to day will look something like this:
- Experience in the Banking and finance industry, such as a teller, call center operator or accounts receivable, is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in Mortgage Collections
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused attitude and good attention to detail
- Building rapport and relationships with customers
- Resolving any problems and addressing any queries in an efficient manner
The ideal candidate will:
- Experience in the Banking and finance industry, such as a teller, call center operator, or accounts receivable, is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-focused attitude and good attention to detail
