What was the customer’s situation?

The customers were an older couple with a good serviceability and equity. Given their age, the main banks were not able to service the loan for more than 15 years. Bluestone were able to provide them with a 24 year term, improving their buying capacity meaning they were able to purchase their dream home whilst keeping their other properties. 

What made this deal unique or challenging?

The customers age and income became an obstacle in terms of serviceability.
